Many people believe that Halloween is just a kid’s holiday and that adults should not be dressing up.  But why should only kids have the fun?  And where do college kids fit in all of this?  The answer is simple: college kids have the best of both worlds.  They are adults and should be treated as such but they are also kids who are in college which is supposed to be the best years of their lives.  So college kids should feel free to let loose and enjoy Halloween to the fullest.  And the following is the ten best Halloween costumes for college students.

Angels and Demons are popular themes for college costume parties in general and is a great costume for Halloween.  The costumes lend themselves to creativity and there is now way in telling who the angel is and who the demon is!

Mario and Luigi are the famed brothers from the Super Nintendo game Mario Brothers.  Their likeness is well known to children around the world and has been known for decades.  So what could make a better costume that to dress as the famed brothers that every college student knows?   As an added bonus, if there are more than two people in the group, you could also dress up as the Princess, Bowser and Donkey Kong.

Will Ferrell’s humor is an acquired taste.  But many college students believe that Mr. Ferrell is a comedic genius.  So what could be a better Halloween costume than dressing up as one of your favorite Will Ferrell’s characters?  Think about the possibilities; an Elf, Frank the Tank, Ron Burgundy or a Spartan Cheerleader. 

For the couples out there a great Halloween costume can be to dress up as the original couple Adam and Eve.  And yes, you can design the costume to be more than just a few leaves, but it can be a sexy and fun costume. 

If you are going to a party at your college, what could be a better costume than dressing up as you school mascot.  Now depending on the school, this could be a great costume or be very normal, but it would be considered creative either way.  Of course, if you go to the Rhode Island School of Design, your mascot is Scrotie, the man sized penis, so you better be careful.

Star Wars and its numerous characters are universally known and can make great college Halloween costumes.  Some people could dress up as their favorite Jedi Knight, a Storm Trooper or even Princess Leia with or without her golden slave bikini.

Jake and Elwood Blues are notorious figures in movie history and can be the makings of a great college Halloween costume.  Think about it, cheap suits, sunglasses and perhaps a Midwest accent.  And if you can pull of the dance you are sure to be a hit at any party.

From a suggestion in the comments I thought what a great idea. Naughty nuns or preachers. Yes, its total Blasphemy, but hey its Halloween. And the whole point is to dress up as someone we are not so why not go all the way.  And if we can't have a little fun, what is the point of it all?   So go ahead, dress up as your favorite religious leader.
