Located in an old strip mall next to a Merry Maids and tattoo parlor, New Shanghai on Auburn Boulevard in Citrus Heights doesn’t look like much from the outside. However, once inside you discover a restaurant that offers great food and great service at a great price. The best deal in town is New Shanghai’s dinner specials that comes with one entrée of Orange Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Mongolian Beef or a seafood dish, 3 appetizers, won ton soup, rice and chow mien for under 10 bucks. And the serving size is enough for dinner that night and lunch the next day.
